Walking

Mountain walking at all levels. Gentle strolls in the village, a 4 hour round trip to the top of Les Memises for the view, or down to the Lake shore and back for tea.

Something for the more serious walker is the GR5 route and it's variants that can be accessed from many of the connecting mountain trails in the area. The cabin lift can be used in the summer to take you from the village into the mountains. (Open June-Aug. September operation undecided.)

Mountain Biking

There is plenty of scope in the extensive area for mountain biking with 119kmsof trails though the national park.

Bikes are for hire from Méda Sport in the village

Para gliding

Flying from this area you would have the most spectacular views over Lake Geneva

and into Switzerland. A great place to come and try this amazing sport

River Rafting and Canyoning

Professionally guided rides down the rapids of the rive Dranse near Morzine or Chatel

Boat rides and trips on the lake, mostly run all year, and for a few Euros you can take a ride over to Lausanne for lunch (please don't forget to take your passport with you on this trip)
